Upfit Yard Technician
Join City Rent A Truck as an Upfit Yard Technician, supporting our upfitting team while maintaining the care and organization of our vehicle lot. This hands-on role involves prepping and cutting metal, moving and assembling truck bed parts, and keeping our fleet clean and ready for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Kit parts for upfitting operations to ensure timely production
• Assist with drilling, cutting metal, and assembling bed parts for upfits
• Perform basic maintenance checks and add fluids as needed
• Drive vehicles between service areas and lot
• Maintain lot cleanliness and remove hazards or debris
• Handle stake bed rail installations on flatbed trucks
• Assist with new truck inventory audits and documentation verification
• Provide general facility maintenance as needed
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a good record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work outdoors year-round
Pay: Competitive hourly compensation range

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
